Taiko Overview

Taiko is an open source, decentralized Type 1 (Ethereum-equivalent) ZK-EVM.

Guide:

1. You will need to get some Ethereum testnet tokens on Ethereum Holesky: a) Faucets:

3. Swap Holesky ETH to other tokens - https://swap.katla.taiko.xyz/#/swap?chain=taiko-katla
4. Add Liquidity to a Pool (e.g. ETH & HORSE) on Katla - https://swap.katla.taiko.xyz/#/add/ETH
5. Register a .taiko name - https://dottaiko.me/
6. Optional: Mint a pass on Blazpay: https://taiko.blazpay.com with code EVVTZJF - then mint and stake partnership NFTs for staking rewards to buy
7. Optional: Mint/buy NFTs on Alphamint https://www.alphamint.online/ - WARNING: possibly NSFW NFTs on front page.

Notes:

• The airdrop has been confirmed; the date will be between May til July when or after mainnet launches.
• 35M fund raise; 50% of tokens go to community, less tokens for VC (confirmed in an interview).
