One choice for the whole app: where your replies run. Use our inference or yours. SistineGPT is the client and the vault.

• LocalA one-click model on your Mac, or one on another computer on your network. Free forever, and a chat with the model on your Mac never reaches our servers. Web search is allowed here; a search shows you its exact words before it leaves, unless you allow searches for that chat.
• Private cloudOn the Private Cloud plan, this mode sends each message to a sealed server that Venice routes to. Before sending, your Mac checks that the server is genuine sealed hardware and encrypts your message to it. It does not check every program the server's operator runs. Our relay carries ciphertext it has no key to open. No key of yours, no setup. Text only: no tools, no memory notes, no images.
• Ghost modeThe ghost button on the composer, like a browser's incognito window. On, the chat is written to no file on your Mac and reads no memory notes. Leave it and it is gone, unless you keep it.
• Your own serviceOn the Private Cloud plan, Local mode can also point the app at any OpenAI-compatible endpoint of your own, with your own key. That service reads what you send, and the app says "Not private" while it is in use.

Pricing

Free is the product, not a teaser. Private Cloud adds a sealed cloud model for the questions your Mac cannot answer, and your screen text, memory notes and images still go only to a model you run.

Private Cloud opens when our relay reports that it is carrying sealed conversations. Until then the app shows it as Coming soon and there is nothing to buy; Free is the whole app meanwhile. What that means.
