These terms are an agreement between you and Looks Labs LLC, doing business as Sistine ("we") covering the Sistine macOS application and related services. By using the app you agree to them.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Macs you own or control. The app and its artwork are our intellectual property; the license doesn't transfer any ownership in the software or the Sistine artwork.
Paid plans are sold by Paddle, our merchant of record, and renew monthly until cancelled. You can cancel any time, effective at the end of the billing period. Plan limits (hosted AI usage, searches, features) are described on the pricing page and enforced in the app; hosted allowances are monthly caps, not guarantees of continuous availability. Refunds are handled per our refund policy.
The app generates content with AI (local models on your Mac, and optional hosted models). AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or outdated. It is provided for information and convenience only and is not professional advice, not medical, legal, financial, investment, or tax advice. Verify anything that matters, and consult a qualified professional for decisions in those areas. The Routines module in particular provides general wellness information, not medical advice; consult a physician before changing medication, supplements, diet, or exercise.
Content you create or connect (email, messages, documents) stays yours. When you connect third-party accounts, you're responsible for complying with their terms, and the app accesses them only on your instruction with credentials stored in your macOS Keychain.
Holders of Sistine NFTs may verify ownership to unlock cosmetic features (their ghost's artwork as a companion, the holders' chat). Verification never requests your keys and involves no transfer, purchase, sale, or financial product. NFT ownership is not required to use the app, confers no rights in the company, and nothing in the app is an offer, investment, or promise of value.
Websites you publish through the app are governed additionally by the Hosting Terms, including their acceptable-use rules, automated enforcement, and DMCA process.
Don't use the app to break the law, infringe others' rights, harass, or attempt to compromise our services or other users (including the holders' chat, where moderators may remove content or restrict access). Don't redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the app except where law permits.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will be accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Looks Labs LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).
You can stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access to online features (hosted AI, search, holders' chat) for abuse or non-payment. Sections 3, 7, 8 and 10 survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here and noted in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions: support@sistine.ai.
